About
Heritage Malta opens the Tas-Silġ archaeological complex for a special morning of guided tours, revisiting the site through the many periods of its use as a place of worship. Knowledgeable guides explain the ritual activity that took place here across millennia, from prehistoric temple builders to later Punic, Roman and mediaeval visitors.
Four tours run through the morning, alternating between English and Maltese, so there's a convenient slot whichever language you prefer. It's a good outing for older children and teens with an interest in history and archaeology, set against the backdrop of Marsaxlokk bay.
