To mark St Martin's Feast, Heritage Malta invites children to a hands-on baking morning or afternoon at the Inquisitor's Palace in Birgu. Children roll up their sleeves to prepare Torta ta' San Martin, the traditional Maltese cake associated with the feast, learning about the history behind the tradition as they bake.
The session is aimed at children aged 7 and over, runs in both Maltese and English, and is offered as two separate sessions on the same day. Children with allergies to butter, flour, yeast, dates, nuts or eggs should not attend.
