This Heritage Malta workshop introduces children to Għadam tal-Mejtin, traditional Maltese almond sweets shaped like bones and linked to All Souls' Day customs. At the Inquisitor's Palace in Birgu, children mix, shape and decorate their own sweets to take home, learning about the tradition along the way.
The activity is aimed at children aged 8 and over and is offered in both a Maltese-language morning session and an English-language afternoon session on the same day. The activity involves nuts, gluten, eggs and dairy, so isn't suitable for children with related allergies.
