The promenade loops around the Qawra headland and along Buġibba's seafront, with lots of flat, open space beside the sea.
Playgrounds, cafés and ice-cream kiosks along the way make it easy to turn a scooter ride into an outing. It's busiest on summer evenings, so mornings and late afternoons are calmer for younger riders.
