About
Fort St Angelo guards the entrance to the Grand Harbour from the tip of Birgu. Families can walk the ramparts, peer through gun ports and follow the story of the Knights and the Great Siege of 1565 through displays inside the fort.
Much of the visit is outdoors and there are ramps as well as steps, so bring hats and water in summer.
