About
Għar Dalam — the 'cave of darkness' — holds the earliest evidence of people on Malta, and layers of bones from animals that lived here in the Ice Age, including dwarf elephants and hippopotamuses.
The museum's cases of teeth and bones fascinate dinosaur-loving children, and a path leads through a valley garden to the cave mouth. The ticket also covers the nearby Borġ in-Nadur site.
