Housed in a Knights' auberge on Valletta's main street, the museum shows finds from Malta's temple period: carved stones, pottery and the famous figurines, including the tiny Sleeping Lady from the Hypogeum.
It is compact, cool and indoors — a good hour on a hot or rainy day in the city.
