The promenade runs for more than two kilometres along Sliema's seafront, from the Ferries towards St Julian's, with a wide, flat surface and the sea alongside.
It's one of the best scooter routes in Malta for children who can already steer and stop well: it gets busy with walkers, especially on weekend afternoons, so early mornings and quieter stretches suit beginners better. Keep an eye out where side streets cross.
